About Us
MESA is an organization that utilizes experiential STEM education as a platform to develop autonomous individuals by strengthening community initiatives that promote and foster partnerships. We work to provide skills-based training that enables individuals to become self-reliant, self-sufficient, and critical contributors to their communities. Our programs aim to help individuals achieve financial stability both socially and academically. We implement methodologies that help increase cultural awareness and develop communication skills.
Through project-based STEM courses with job-ready portfolios, MESA offers a number of education programs for the people of Syria, Turkey, Pakistan, and Sierra Leone to help them get a job-ready skill set.
Apart from education, MESA aims to provide underprivileged entrepreneurs and small business owners with solutions to scale their businesses and help skilled people in underprivileged societies reach their audience around the world. The solutions include web development, e-commerce, digital marketing, etc.
The STEM courses offered by MESA are uniquely designed to provide hands-on training and project experience to the people attending them.
Our Story
We Started as pathways in 2018
Mesa began as a pathway in Turkey to provide educational assistance to newly migrated Syrian refugees.
Pathways also helped many students build their language skills in Turkish and English and helped them find a job or enter a university to complete their education.
In 2020, we launched STEPS
A pilot project named “Steps” was launched for Turkey and Syria. STEPS worked with NSPPL to provide staff training in NSPPL and provide support to their beneficiaries.
STEPS entered Pakistan and worked with the students at the high school and undergraduate levels to address their needs
December 2022, We launched Mesa
Mesa Humanitarian offers a variety of professional development opportunities. Mesa was created with the aim of making societies self-sufficient by giving the members of the developing societies educational, livelihood, and community support to help them raise and support more members of society; Mesa is a Social Good Entrepreneurial project aiming to expand its community and enabling the people to assist others from all sectors of society either it is a specific type of education or consultancy or if it is the right type of mentorship and support that is required.

Mesa aims to provide full-fledged pieces of training to its beneficiaries for both the in-demand hard skills and most essential soft skills that make someone a notable candidate throughout their career.

Beneficiary
The core of MESA humanitarian.
Our beneficiaries are people from different backgrounds from different socio-economic groups.
Our beneficiaries span from the children from slums of rural areas to the undergrad students of developing nations and the professionals and business owners attending most essential professional ethics topics like harassment and conflict management.
Trainer
Our trainers are both our volunteers and staff.
Trainers work with mentors to help our beneficiaries learn the skills they are assigned and to complete the project they are working on.
Getting regular guidance and mentorship from skilled and experienced mentors and working alongside on the projects provides the trainer with numerous opportunities of growth.
Mentor
Mentors are MESA’s skilled and Experienced professionals who are willing to help build the community.
Mentors don’t have to be present all the time. Still, with wisdom and experience, they help the beneficiaries learn better and help the trainers throughout the projects and learning process.
Where we Work?
We believe in using technology to expand our reach and make our operations time and cost-effective. MESA majorly works remotely and works to reach as many as possible. However, we are always open to partnering with organizations for onsite efforts in a variety of regions throughout the world. We are currently establishing out in Turkey, Pakistan, and Syria. Mesa is always open to expanding its operations anywhere in the world, whether online or onsite.
